Design/science/responsibility is what I'm all about - the merging of the worlds of design and science in order to create a more sustainable future. I think Buckminster Fuller said it best: " A designer is an emerging synthesis of artist, inventor, mechanic, objective economist and evolutionary strategist".  In the following pages, you will find some of the things I have been working on with this in mind.

The buttons above are no ordinary plastic buttons - they are Bioresin derived from sunflower oil instead of traditional petrochemical sources.  A great deal of my work has been in regards to the development of materials and products which are fully compostable including my new version of oilcloth which is both compostable and waterproof - you can read more about this project under Leave No Trace.
